Foundations Gallery at Columbia Greene Communitiy College will host

Pieces of Time

an exhibit of drawings, installation and sculpture from October 21 to November 23, 2010. The opening reception is on Thursday October 21 12:30-1:30.
Columbia Greene Community College is located at 4400 Route 23 in Hudson, NY.

I am very excited about this exhibit. It is giving me the opportunity to freely explore some ideas I have been playing with in my studio. It is a large space which affords plenty of room for hanging installation. There are also glass showcases which will be a perfect environment for small maquettes and miniature sculpture.

Moments of Longing at Montgomery Row

The opening at Montgomery Row in Rhinebeck. The show is up until the July 24 at 6324 Rt. 9 in Rhinebeck. (The entry for the upstairs gallery is between Blue Cashew and the Paper store across from Gigi's.) Hours: Mon-Sat. 9-6, and by appointment.

Upcoming Events

In June I will be showing a group of new pastel drawings at Montgomery Row in Rhinebeck, New York, opening on June 19th. Also in June my work will be in "Praxis" at the Dorsky Mueum in New Paltz, opening June 26. Details for both to follow.

On and Off the Wall

This piece "Fluid" (3'x6"x6", fabric and found object) is currently at the Columbia County Arts Council Gallery in Hudson, NY. The exhibit is interesting and varied. See artscolumbia.org for details and list of artists.

First Place Sculpture Award - Knit Object

My Knit Object received the First Place Sculpture Award at the Columbia County Council on The Arts Juried Show at the Hudson Opera House, Hudson NY. Janet Riker,curator, Director of U Albany Art Museum spoke at the reception and Colleen Schaffernoth, new Arts Council Director presented the awards.
